My guest today is Shawn Èverett, a Juno and Grammy winning Canadian producer, engineer, and mixer living and working in Los Angeles. Shawn has a long discography of really cool sounding records!
He has worked with many great artists including Grammy winning Alabama Shakes, Weezer, Margaret Glaspy, Pete Yorn, Warpaint, John Legend, The Killers, Julian Casablancas and The Voidz, Kesha, Har Mar Superstar, Local Natives, and many many others.
And in 2018 he won a Grammy for engineering and mixing War On Drugs, A Deeper Understanding. And you may remember we have also had Nick Krill on the podcast who did some engineering on this record as well.
